Castle Cottage Holiday Stays offers unique romantic accommodation in a beautiful country location, in the beautiful South Downs National Park, near the town of Petworth. Situated within the grounds of Coates Castle, a Strawberry Hill gothic mansion and surrounded by ancient woodland and pretty gardens.

All rooms are self-contained, have their own outside space and are well-separated from each other.

All rooms have double, king or emperor size beds with fine cotton sheets, TV and a hairdryer. The en-suite bath/shower rooms are provided with soft fluffy towels.

All you have to bring is your own food and drink.

The owner has a dog and two cats.

The Barn

The Barn has a spacious double height sitting room, dining room, large kitchen and up the spiral staircase is the bedroom and bathroom.

The Tree house

Built into a huge sweet chestnut tree on the edge of a wood, a substantial staircase leads you up to the comfortable accommodation.

The Garden Room

It is a large room with a huge emperor size bed, sitting area with a comfortable sofa and an en-suite shower room.

Activities

At nearby Goodwood, there is the famous horse and motor racing. For the adventurous there is ballooning, polo, flying and gliding or relax with some fly fishing or massage and aromatherapy. There is also walking in the South Downs, visiting grand homes, gardens, museums and much more.
